While planning a Mother’s Day Weekend surprise, I found this wonderful B&B in the Top 5 on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, my mother and I arrived much later than scheduled, but Liz exuded great hospitality upon our arrival. She greeted us with a warm smile and open arms. She gave us a tour of the B&B and explained where everything was. She went above and beyond by providing us knowledge of local restaurants, the ferries times (as it was off season) as well as information about Martha’s Vineyard to plan our excursion the following day. The B&B was amazingly clean!! … and she has thought of everything !! Her hospitality was superb and we felt very pampered!! I can’t wait to go back. In fact, it is only a matter of time ! We hope that you consider this B&B for your next trip and we are almost certain that you will be pleasantly surprised, just as we were :) P.S. My mom could not stay away from the chocolate chip cookies and I fell in love with the blueberry crepes.

A truly wonderful b&b, with a most charming, helpful hostess. The room was beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and the breakfasts were amazing, so well thought out. The views from this gorgeous house are great, right out to Marthas Vineyard, lovely to relax looking out to sea, glass of wine in hand (provided!) A great find, I will be back!

My husband and I stayed at Baileys Inn by the Sea in early sept. It was our first trip to Cape Cod and boy did we love it! The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and Liz was the best at everything;from advice on where to eat or where to play golf to her fabulous breakfast each morning.there is no better view of the ocean and Martha's vineyard than from the Baileys wrap around porch.

We just returned from a quick get-away at Bailey’s by the Sea in Falmouth, MA on Cape Cod. This Bed and Breakfast is outstanding, beautiful, well run and immaculate. It is located in Falmouth Heights with magnificant views of Nantucket Sound and Martha’s Vineyard. The hospitality of Liz and Jerry is second to none. They go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and at home. The comfortable rooms are tastefully decorated – some with an oriental flare. Breakfast at Baileys is a treat. The wrap around enclosed porch serves as the breakfast dining area where guests enjoy the lovely water views Our delicious breakfast was elegantly served. Liz made it a point to check with all the guests as to rule out their dislikes. This is a great place to relax and we have already made arrangements to return for a longer stay.

From the moment we drove into the parking space at Baileys by the Sea, we were welcomed and treated like family by its owners, Liz and Jerry, by CJ, their lovley greyhound and Lily, their even lovlier neice. Our stay at this gorgeous B&B was a series of pleasant moments, savoury food, and good times. Had we known it would be this great we would have booked a whole week. Alas, we only had three nights and four days to take in the beautiful Victorian and Japanese influenced decor, and the amazing closed porch which looked out to the ocean and presented a stunning view of the sunrise and Martha’s Vineyard off in the distance. Mornings were a highlight at Baileys. Coffee was brewing from 6:30 am and the smell of Banana Bread wafting under our noses just pulled us out of our rooms and onto the porch. And of course, the wonderful Erica was there to welcome us, make us smile and give us a good kick start to a wonderful day ahead. The breakfasts were truly memorable and unlike any I have had in recent memory. This was no Denny’s breakfast alright. They were cooked, prepared and presented with as much love and authenticity as the actual building itself and those who run it. A GEM of a place! We shall be returning… if we can get a reservation, that is! Thank you so very much for a pocketful of memories we will not soon forget! ‘Arigatou gozaimasu’ to Liz, Jerry, Lily, Erica, and CJ and congrats on such a wonderful thing you’ve got going….

My wife and I have returned from an excellent stay at Bailey’s by the Sea, Falmouth, MA. While many highlights are described later, the location, view, and hospitality were outstanding. Liz, the innkeeper, and Erica, were warm, friendly, and ever helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. As bike riders, we appreciated the always-available cookies and drinks. The sweeping view of Nantucket sound from the enclosed, wrap-around porch and from the patio was beautiful. The bicycle ride from Menahunt to Woods Holes (roughly ten miles each way mainly along the coast) and beyond was extraordinary. The location on Falmouth Heights Beach, near the Island Queen ferry, Falmouth harbor, sea-side restaurants, Cape Cod League baseball, and shopping was very convenient. Despite the closeness to these activities, the inn was roughly one half mile from Route 28 so that noise and traffic was low. Our visit was in mid June shortly before the peak season. The inn and grounds were impeccably maintained. Our stay surpassed our expectations and we look forward to future visits. The dynamic tandem duo M&J.
